Star Wars Identities Exhibition arrived to Lyon!
Dont miss out and visit the interactive Star Wars Exhibition which arrived to Lyon in November 2014. You still have a chance to experience it as Star Wars Identities will stay in the Lyon city untill April this year.
I mean you will experience not only watch the Star Wars Exhibition as The Identities Show is a completely new way to get to know the characters of the well known saga and also a good way to find out more about yourself…Curious? I bet you are!
As a short introduction I will only mention that the Star Wars Identities has its premier in Paris last year. It is a travelling exhibition and will leave Lyon this spring. It features about 200 original costumes, models and artwork from the six films of Star Wars. You can see there R2-D2, Han Solo’s Millennium Falcon and Anakin’s full-sized Podracer. Yoda, Chewbacca, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, stormtroopers, and Darth Vader are also on display.
But this is not all, as the Star Wars Identities provides the visitor with a good fun! At the entrance each visitor is being given a special branclet. So was I! I got the black brancelet and has been introduced to 10 tasks which I needed to complete while visiting the exposition. Each task has been registered onto my bracelet and at the end I found out which of the characters define me! So I learnt on how I have reacted to particular events. I have decided on what values i support, what are my dreams and aspirations. You have chosen my real name and designed the planet I come from. And I was presented with my Star Wars Identity at the end!
It has been a great fun and made the Star Wars Exhibition so much more interesting otherwise i could have been disappointed and left it after half an hour. Cause how long you can look at the costumes, models and read notes about them. Well, that sounds like i am not such a big Star Wars fan. That’s correct, I watched all the movies but I am not obsessed about it at all. I would even not watch the movies again. I ticked the box and watched them once and its enough. I might see the new one – Star Wars Episode VII: Force Awakens which is going to be released in the cinema in Decemeber 2015. For me, all the Star Wars movies are good but not mind blowing experience, isn’t? Well, we all have our likes and preferences, dont we?
Anyway, what I wanted to say here is the fact that even if I am not a Star Wars fan, I enjoyed the exhibition very much and I have now the greater respect for the producers and Mr Lukas! I admire the passion, the idea and the creation process. The most interesting bit for me were all the drawings and sketches which created the characters of the movie!
