Being a family is the best thing that anyone can dream of. This is truly the meaning of our lives. Everyone has a family and everyone has different special relations inside those families, different and unique ways of being a family. There is a traditional family with parents and kids. We also create families with our pets and close friends. This is beautiful because this is us who can shape our families.

The families are differently important for us at different stages of our lives. For me, the family has always been and is important but I have been shaping it through years …now I am at the stage that I have my own special family here in France! I couldn’t be happier, more grateful, and blessed! I enjoyed every moment of being a family in France and I wish you all the same. Stop and realize what wonderful family you have!

But getting to the point…I want to say that having a family in France is an ongoing learning experience for me, full of discoveries, lessons, happy & sad moments, moments of fun, and frustrations. It is a roller-coaster of emotions, events but also all those ‘down to earth’ things and situations related to being a family in France.

Let me share those learning about being a family in France with you: starting from being pregnant in France, giving birth in Lyon, through to being a new parent (because not young anyone), bringing up your baby who is bilingual or even trilingual in France & Lyon and so on….
