One of my favourite months in Lyon. Christmas, Fete des Lumières…can you ask for more? Magical, amazing time to enjoy Lyon. Ok, it could be warmer but we can’t complain. The coldest it gets it’s just -1 degree during winter, snow is happening from time to time to scare not prepared for this French people and than when it gets interesting… but coming back to the subject. 20 years of UNESCO in Lyon celebrated in the Gadagne Museum – the Gadagne museum is celebrating the 20 years of inscription of Lyon on the UNESCO. In 1998, on December 5, the historic site of Lyon was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Exhibition “Da Vinci – The Inventions of a Genius” – This is the largest traveling exhibition dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci. Pu Yingwei Exhibition – Double Empire – Is an expo presenting the architecture of the major French ensembles, urbanism and issues related to memory and Migration. The artist originally from Shanxi Province, PU Yingwei graduated from the Sichuan School of Fine Arts and ENSBA from Lyon and he is also currently in his final year at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon.
