I, personally, do not like October month. For me, it’s a sign of autumn. And even if I like autumn for its colors, I don’t like to say goodbye to summer. How about you?

Equita – It is an event which became, over the years, the European meeting place for all the riding enthusiasts. Bernar Venet Retrospective 2019-1959 – Is a new exposition in the museum of modern art. It’s an exceptional ensemble of more than 170 works by Bernar Venet, from the very latest creations to early performances, drawings, diagrams, paintings, photographs, sound works, films, and sculptures. Exhibition “Da Vinci – The Inventions of a Genius” – This is the largest traveling exhibition dedicated to the genius of Leonardo da Vinci. After Venice and Istanbul, it is in Lyon to host this must-attend event! Of the 200 exhibits, half are reproductions of machines invented by Leonardo da Vinci. Among them, you can discover the extraordinary, gearbox, alternator, animated wing or the ingenious system of pulleys, also to see the Codex series, 120 unique facsimiles as well as original documents such as engravings by Raphael, Dürer, or Michelangelo! Festival Lumière – Grand Lyon Film Festival – The 10th anniversary of a film festival for all! Lyon, the birthplace of Cinématographe Lumière, pays homage to the 7th Art. Pu Yingwei Exhibition – Double Empire – Is an expo presenting the architecture of the major French ensembles, urbanism and issues related to memory and Migration. The artist originally from Shanxi Province, PU Yingwei graduated from the Sichuan School of Fine Arts and ENSBA from Lyon and he is also currently in his final year at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Lyon. Yokainoshima, spirits of Japan – The new exciting expo at the museum of Confluence. Great opportunity to explore the Japanese culture and traditions to wear costumes which makes it possible to transform oneself into a god, a demon or an animal. The exhibition traces a link between contemporary photographs by Charles Fréger, which show a large number of masked ritual figures, and the museum’s Japanese collections. Touaregs – This exhibition of the Tuaregs who are the nomads, the skilled craftspeople who produce geometric and contemporary jewelry, the poets and artists with a lively, beautiful culture that is constantly evolving. So this expo shows their lifestyle illustrated with their poetry and music. There are 280 objects exhibited, from watercolors to archival documents, adverts, posters and comics. There are also many everyday tools and symbolic objects (such as weapons and saddles), as well as jewelry and amulets, leather goods and textiles.
