What is Your Birth Flower?

Which month have you been born? When are your birthdays?

I am an April Birthday Girl so it means my celebration time is over this year. I remember when I was younger I was much more looking forward to the birthday and now I am not that bothered, interested or more…I would prefer to avoid knowing that this is the next year over…but anyway. It is not something I will moan about!  We do all love birthdays: to celebrate, to meet up with friends and family, for the birthday cake and presents ;-), don’t we? So this all we already know. But did you know that each month has a flower that symbolizes somebody’s birth?

Well, I haven’t but recently I came across interesting facts and wanted to share with you. It is about Birth Month Flowers. Do you know what your Birth Month Flower is? Well, haven’t known I have one until now. And I would not bother you about some flowers but this is actually really useful. Each flower has special characteristics which can describe the month but mostly the personality of the one who was born that particular month.

JANUARY has been represented by Carnation – one of the most delicate and beautiful blooms. It comes in different colours and each of them symbolizes a sentiment or emotion. Pink Carnation means affection; Red means Love and Affection, white carnations good luck and Yellow – disappointment or exclusion.

To sum up: Carnation means Love, Pride, Beauty, Purity, Distinction, Fascination, and Loyal.

FEBRUARY has been represented by Violet which says that you will always be true. It comes in 2 shades: purple and white.

To sum up:Violet means Faithfulness, Wisdom and Hope.

MARCH has been represented by Daffodil. All is means is reborn and new beginnings which is associated with spring coming.

APRIL has been represented by Daisy which symbolizes innocence.

To sum up: Lily of the Valley means Humility, Chastity, and Sweetness.

JUNE has been represented by Rose. This is a bit tricky as each colour gives different meaning to the flower. For example, Red says love and romance, white – innocence, purity, and remembrance.

JULY has been represented by Larkspur. It symbolizes happy nature, first love, optimism and enthusiasm as well as contrariness depending on the colour. It is very gentle flower with refreshing fragrance

AUGUST has been represented by Gladiolus which is a long lasting flower in different colours

SEPTEMBER has been represented by Aster/Forget-me-not which conveys deep emotional love and affection.

OCTOBER has been represented by Marigold which symbolizes elegance and devotion.
